Small Appliances for More Kitchen Spaces
That's why a few appliance manufacturers have designed smaller appliance lines for fitting into small spaces. If you've been frustrated with a lack of room, in your wildest dreams you probably never thought you could manage to fit a gourmet range in your kitchen. But you can! The European appliance manufacturer Fagor, for example, offers just that in its 27"-wide five-element gas cook top. Thin ovens, narrow refrigerators, small dishwashers, and just about anything you could hope for are made possible by companies like Fagor. Many of these products come from European companies because they have been dealing with a general lack of space for years.

The standard size refrigerator for most American manufacturers measures approximately 30"x33"x36". At this size, refrigerators are more than overbearing in most small kitchen remodels. Compare this to a 24"x24"x79", narrow refrigerator and you'll start to see how you can make your kitchen more streamlined.
